Singer and actor Eric is set to make his comeback to the small screen with a role in a new KBS drama starring actress Han Ye-seul, according to the show's promoter Media Control K.
On Wednesday, Media Control K announced in a press release that Eric will play the role of Kang-woo, a Hallyu star, in the upcoming Monday and Tuesday primetime series "Spy Myung-wol (translated title)," making it his first acting role since being discharged from the military in October last year.
"Spy Myung-wol," helmed by Hwang In-hyuk whose works include "The Iron Empress" and "SungKyunKwan Scandal," tells the story of a North Korean spy (played by actress Han Ye-seul) that falls in love with Kang-woo.
"I feel pressured since this will be my first production after a three year hiatus but I am really anxious about the first shoot," Eric was quoted as saying.
