MBC’s historical drama “The Duo” marked its second win amongst Monday and Tuesday primetime series, revealed findings by two media research companies on Wednesday.
“The Duo,” starring Chun Jung-myung, Lee Sang-yoon and Han Ji-hye, was ranked atop the viewership ratings charts of Total National Multimedia Statistics (TNmS) and AGB Nielsen Media Research with average scores of 13.35 percent and 15.4 percent, respectively.
KBS series “Baby Faced Beauty” starring Jang Nara, Choi Daniel and Ryu Jin settled at No. 2 with average viewership ratings of 11.1 percent on TNmS’ survey and 11.2 percent on AGB’s report, both figures showing about a two percent gain from last week.
The drama centers on the comical episodes of a 34-year-old single woman, who, after getting a job in a textile company by faking her age, then faces other kinds of discrimination in the workplace because she is now considered too young.
The show about a girl who gets entangled in a marriage scandal with a young and handsome hotel president because of a single lie that blows out of proportion is a romantic comedy starring Yoon Eun-hye and Kang Ji-hwan.
