Actress Han Hyo-joo has been named a promotional ambassador for Korea's National Tax Service (NTS), notified her agency BH Entertainment on Wednesday.
BH said through a press release on Wednesday that Han will promote the NTS for the next two years after being appointed to her new title at a ceremony scheduled for tomorrow.
Han's activities as PR ambassador will including shooting posters, videos and other promotional material as well as taking part in street campaigns and other activities aimed at highlighting the government's policies.
This is not the first time Han was named a promotional ambassador -- she was chosen to play a similar role for the G20 Seoul Summit, the 2010 consensus led by the National Statistics Office, educational campaign led by North Chungcheong Province’s Office of Education and more.
Han, 24, rose to stardom throughout Korea and Asia after starring as a heroine in several hit dramas including “Brilliant Legacy (2009)” and most recently appeared in historical drama "Dong Yi - Jewel in the Crown. (2010)"
She is currently filming local film “Only You" co-starring actor So Ji-sub which portrays the love between a former boxer and a woman going blind.
