"Paradise Farm" stars Lee Yeon-hee and Shim Changmin [SBS]
TVXQ's Shim Changmin starrer "Paradise Farm" will begin its run in Japan in May.
According to the official TVXQ Japanese website on Monday, "Paradise Farm" will air on Japan's Digital Adventure TV (DATV) starting May, while the cast will hold press conferences and interviews in the country from February till April.
"Paradise Farm," helmed by director Kim Chul-kyu, tells the story of a young couple (played by Shim Changmin and actress Lee Yeon-hee) who gets married at a young age, only to get a quick divorce and re-encounter each other six years later.
The romantic comedy is currently playing on SBS every Monday and Tuesday nights and has recorded viewership ratings in the six to ten percent range since its premiere on January 24.
Max Changmin made his debut in the five-member boy band TVXQ, composed of other members Xiah Junsu, Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yuchun and U-Know Yunho, in 2004.
Max Changmin and U-know Yunho remained in the group and made a comeback as a duo with their new album “Why (Keep Your Head Down)” which has been sweeping both online and televised music charts upon its release last month.
