Korean actress Sin Se-gyeong has shut down her personal website which was apparently attacked by fans of boy band SHINee's lead vocalist Jonghyun who are angry that Sin is dating their favorite idol star.
Reps for Sin and Jonghyun, both high-profile celebrities in their respective fields, had admitted on Wednesday morning that two have been romantically involved for about a month now after a report by a local daily sports paper exposed photographs of the couple strolling hand-in-hand in a park.
SHINee's fans, mostly in their early teens to mid-20s, poured out remarks which insulted the actress on a personal level or cursed her, some going as far as to wish death upon her. Hours later, Sin's page was no longer valid.
The actress' official website has also been having problems -- the server is down for all websites of her agency Namoo Actors, which manages several of Korea's most popular talent including actresses Moon Geun-young and Kim Tae-hee.
Sin has been one of the most sought-after actresses in Korea after rising to stardom through MBC's smash-hit sitcom "High Kick 2" last year.
Jonghyun is readying for his group's first Japan and Korea concert in December while promoting their second repackaged album "Hello."
