Super Junior member Yesung will make a surprise appearance on KBS' music show tomorrow for idol group SHINee who will have to perform without their member Jonghyun who is recovering from the influenza flu.
"I decided to go on the stage of Music Bank to support SHINee and with the hope that Jonghyun will make a fast recovery," Yesung was quoted as saying in a press release on Thursday by SM Entertainment, the management agency for both boy bands.
SM added that Yesung will sing some of Jonghyun's parts from SHINee's song "Ring Ding Dong", which took the No. 1 spot on the show last week, as well as shows on other channels.
SM had said earlier in the day that Jonghyun, diagnosed with the flu on Tuesday, has been recovering quickly and is expected to be given a clean bill of health in the next couple of days.
However, they said they would make sure he is in full health before he resumes his activities to promote his group's third mini-album "2009, Year Of Us" which was released less than two weeks ago.
Super Junior, composed of 13 members, has been one of the most popular K-pop acts in Asia since their debut in 2005.
