Korean movie "Aeja" is topping advance ticket reservation charts, according to the film's production company on Wednesday.
The film, which opens today, was outselling current No.1 movie "Take Off"in advance ticket sales on all reservation websites as of 10 a.m., Daisy Entertainment stated in a press release.
On maxmovie.com, a major ticket reservation site, ticket sales for "Aeja" topped the chart with over 30 percent while "Take Off" came in second with less than a 17 percent reservation rate.
Reservations for the new pic stood at 32.2 percent on Yes24, 30.2 percent on Nate Movies and 28.34 percent on Interpark.
The movie stars Choi Gang-hee, who mostly recently appeared in SBS' "My Sweet Seoul" and Kim Young-ae, depicting on the story of a 29-year-old unsuccessful writer and her tumultuous relationship with her mother.
