Starting from September 17, this year's Chuseok train ticket reservations
are not proceeding as planned.
Originally, from 7:00 AM on this day, reservations were scheduled to be accepted
for the entire nation through a dedicated website or application.
When accessing the Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) website, only messages such as "Redirecting to holiday reservation screen" and "Waiting system connection failed" appear, and normal access is not possible.

However, due to the Mugunghwa train accident last month, train operations during the holiday period were adjusted,
and the reservation schedule was postponed by two weeks, with reservations starting on September 15.
On September 15 and 16, reservations were first opened to people with disabilities, seniors, and national merit recipients.
Chuseok holiday train tickets can only be reserved online.
A representative from KORAIL stated, "As a large number of users attempted to make reservations simultaneously,
temporary connection delays and waiting times occurred."
"After emergency measures were taken, reservations are being processed in stages,
and the exact cause is currently under investigation," the representative added.
