A dangerous scene of a person sticking their upper body and legs out of the sunroof and window of a moving vehicle was captured on a road in Gapyeong County, Gyeonggi Province. Many internet users voiced criticism and concern over this behavior, which could easily lead to a major accident if the car were to brake suddenly. In a video posted on an online community on September 2, a man riding in a white sedan is seen with his upper body out through the sunroof, and even stretching his legs out the window.

The community administrator commented, "The man is sitting with his upper body out through the sunroof, and to make matters worse, he is sticking his legs out the window, engaging in a reckless and extremely dangerous act." The administrator added, "The road is not a circus, yet he is behaving with no sense at all." In the video, a man wearing a baseball cap can be seen on a two-way road with his upper body out of the moving vehicle's sunroof, enjoying the wind with his bare right leg extended out the window.
When the road turned into an uphill curve, the man finally pulled himself back into the car. The video appears to have been filmed by a vehicle driving behind the white car. Viewers of the video commented, "He'll end up in a hearse at this rate," "It's a shame that the only penalty is for not wearing a seatbelt," "Is he trying to get a ticket to the afterlife?" "I've never seen someone stick their legs out like that," and "Looks like a scene from a Xi Jinping military parade."
Dangerous acts like those seen in the video not only put the person at risk but also subject the driver to fines. According to Articles 50 and 39 of the Road Traffic Act, drivers must ensure that all passengers, not just themselves, are wearing seatbelts. Additionally, drivers are obligated to take necessary measures, such as properly opening and closing the doors, to prevent passengers from falling out of the vehicle.
