According to the video, at approximately 9:54 a.m. on July 29, a private ambulance crew called 112 to request support from one patrol car, stating, "We plan to transfer a newborn from Bucheon Sejong Hospital to the emergency room at Seoul National University Hospital."

The distance to the hospital in Seoul was about 32 kilometers, a route that usually takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes due to regular traffic congestion. However, in a life-threatening situation, any delay could be fatal.

The police dispatched two patrol cars to Bucheon Sejong Hospital and escorted the private ambulance at around 10:15 a.m. Considering that patrol cars cannot leave their jurisdiction, three additional police motorcycles were deployed.

The motorcycles moved ahead of the ambulance, controlling traffic to create a clear route. The Seoul Traffic Patrol, which had been notified in advance, also joined and adjusted traffic signals at major intersections according to the direction of travel to secure the route.

With the help of the police, the private ambulance arrived at Seoul National University Hospital at approximately 10:50 a.m., completing the journey?which normally takes 80 minutes?in just 35 minutes. This was made possible thanks to the cooperation of citizens who cleared the way.

The baby arrived safely at the hospital, received treatment, and is reportedly out of danger.

A police official stated, "Protecting the lives and safety of the public is the most important duty of the police," and added, "We will continue to respond swiftly and responsibly in emergency situations."
