Promotions at Department Stores, Hotels, Resorts, and Theme Parks

The retail industry is launching promotions for students who have taken the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test. Department stores, hotels and resorts, theme parks, and restaurants are offering benefits such as product discounts when students present their exam admission slip.

According to industry sources on November 13, Lotte Department Store will hold a special promotion for examinee customers from November 14 to 16. A total of about 90 fashion brands will participate in this event, including Setter, Superdry, Uniform Bridge, Rawrow, Musinsa Standard, City Breeze, Matin Kim, and Hunch, offering a variety of discounts. Students who present their admission slip can receive an additional 10% to 30% discount depending on the brand. In addition, exclusive K-fashion brands at Lotte Department Store, such as 999 Humanity, Beslow, Knitted, and ETCE, will offer an extra 10% discount to customers who verify their exam slip.

There are also events where examinees can receive complimentary gifts as a token of appreciation for their purchase. At Ohos, customers who spend more than 300,000 won in a single day will receive a Star Quilted Padded Backpack, while at Depound, Holiday Knit Gloves will be given to early customers on a first-come, first-served basis. At Time Villas Suwon, until November 16, students can present their exam slip at the information desk on the second floor to receive a mobile voucher that includes instant discount coupons for food and beverages.

Shilla Stay, operated by Hotel Shilla, has introduced a special package for examinees and their families. Reservations for this package, which are available until February 12 next year, include a one-night stay, breakfast for two, and a discount voucher for examinees. If students bring their physical exam slip, they can enjoy a 50% discount on lunch or dinner buffets for themselves and a 30% discount for up to two accompanying adults.

Eight water parks nationwide operated by Sono International, a subsidiary of Daemyung Sono Group-including Ocean World and Ocean Adventure (Geoje, Cheonan), and Ocean Play (Delpino, Yangyang, Samcheok, Danyang, Byeonsan)-are also offering benefits for examinees. Until December 31, examinees can receive approximately 61% off the water park admission ticket, and up to three accompanying guests can receive a 50% discount.

In addition, Sono Calm Goyang is running a special promotion wishing for students' success until November 30, offering various food and beverage discounts exclusively for examinees. For example, at the buffet restaurant Chef's Kitchen, both lunch and dinner buffets are 50% off, and at the modern Chinese restaurant Jukrim, all a la carte menu items are also 50% off. At Sol Beach Jindo, until February 28 next year, examinees can receive a 50% discount on breakfast and dinner at Chef's Kitchen, and when using the infinity pool, examinees can enter for free while up to three accompanying guests receive a 50% discount on admission.

Lotte World is offering admission discounts at four locations nationwide (Adventure, Adventure Busan, Aquarium, and Seoul Sky) until November 30 for those who present their exam slip and ID. At Adventure and Adventure Busan, the all-inclusive pass is available for 26,000 won and 20,000 won, respectively. At the Aquarium and Seoul Sky, admission tickets are offered at a 50% discount, priced at 17,500 won and 15,500 won, respectively.
