Showcasing Unique Gourmet Experiences with Namdo Ingredients

원본보기 아이콘The Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo Secretariat announced that the "Namdo Gourmet Restaurant" will be operated in the Gourmet Event Zone at the "2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo" until the 26th.
The "Namdo Gourmet Restaurant" is a program where six domestic and international star chefs develop signature and side menus using seasonal ingredients from the Namdo region, offering visitors a new gourmet experience.
On the 8th, the "Black and White Chef" team led by Chef Jung Jiseon, who has gained widespread popularity through media and social media, will appear. The team of star chef Michael, originally from Bulgaria and known for his love of Korea, is scheduled to participate until the 12th.
Chef Jung Jiseon's team will present dim sum dishes made with ingredients sourced from Jeonnam's pristine nature, highlighting the flavors of Namdo produce. Chef Michael's team will recreate Western-style dishes such as lamb trotters and meatball steak using Namdo ingredients, providing visitors with a unique gourmet experience.
From the 14th to the 19th, Michelin one-star chef Nishimura Takahito, renowned in Japan for his fusion ramen, and Chef Nam Junyoung, who showcases a variety of Southeast Asian dishes, will present their creations. From the 21st to the 26th, chefs Oh Seduk and Lim Heewon, who appeared on the popular program "Black and White Chef," will offer special menus featuring Namdo ingredients.
Hong Yanghyun, head of the Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo Secretariat, stated, "With the participation of Chef Jung Jiseon and Chef Michael, Namdo ingredients will be expressed in a more diverse and sophisticated way," adding, "We hope this gourmet restaurant will be a meaningful opportunity to appreciate the excellence of Namdo ingredients."
The 2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo is the first gourmet-themed international event in Korea to be officially approved, based on the value and industrial potential of Namdo cuisine, which combines Jeonnam Province's pristine nature and culinary expertise. The event will be held at the Mokpo Culture and Arts Center and surrounding areas until the 26th.
