According to an analysis of recent luxury consumption trends by luxury shopping platform Trenbe ahead of the 2025 Chuseok holiday season, Louis Vuitton was found to be the most popular brand in terms of purchase amount.
Trenbe announced on October 6 that, based on its own transaction data from September 1 to 22, Louis Vuitton ranked first with overwhelming support in consumer luxury purchase patterns. In the sixth to tenth positions, Thom Browne held onto sixth place, while Dior and Herm?s entered the rankings for the first time this year, taking seventh and eighth place, respectively. Celine and Saint Laurent remained steady within the top ten.
There were also changes in product popularity as well as brand rankings. In terms of order volume, Burberry stood out. In particular, the 'HARTFORD Logo Men's Polo Shirt' and 'Women's IVERY Check Shirt' ranked first and second, respectively, attracting significant consumer attention. In addition, six Burberry products made it into the top ten, including the Reversible Wool Cape (4th), Check Patch Wool Knit (6th), Men's Shirt (7th), and Long Quilted Jacket (10th), highlighting strong demand for fall and winter apparel.
Other notable products included Gucci's 'Interlocking Belt' (3rd) and 'Ace Supreme Women's Sneakers' (5th), COS's Drawstring Bucket Bag (8th), and Longchamp's Shoulder Bag (9th), all of which ranked high in popularity.
Based on this data, Trenbe also recommended gift items suitable for this Chuseok. In particular, outerwear from Burberry, Moncler, and Max Mara continues to be popular among middle-aged and older customers. Louis Vuitton's Bandeau Scarf was recommended as a practical yet luxurious gift that is well-suited for the season.
