The Only Major Accounting Firm in Korea to Receive the Certification
Achieves Its Fourth Recognition
Global accounting and consulting firm EY Han Young announced on September 18 that it has been certified in the large enterprise category at the "2025 Best HRD (Human Resource Development) Certification." This marks its fourth certification following 2015, 2018, and 2021, making EY Han Young the only major accounting firm in Korea to be recognized as an outstanding institution for human resource development.
The Best HRD Certification is a program jointly organized by four ministries: the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The program comprehensively evaluates companies and institutions on competency-based talent recruitment and management, as well as training systems for current employees, and grants certification to those with outstanding human resource development.
EY Han Young received high marks for its well-established global-level talent development system, which includes systematic online and remote-based training programs utilizing various platforms and a digital competency certification system. In line with EY Global’s policies, EY Han Young operates the digital competency certification program "EY Badge" and the "EY Tech MBA." Through these programs, the company offers a wide range of digital training courses, including AI, data, and analytics education, with a particular focus on strengthening AI capabilities and expanding their application.
As a professional organization, EY Han Young fosters an environment where employees can enhance their mindset and technical skills, based on the philosophy that investing in employee growth ultimately delivers long-term value to clients. The company has selected "Career Agility" and "Thrive Time" as core initiatives, supporting employees in experiencing diverse roles and opportunities across regions, work functions, business divisions, and sectors, based on their individual expertise. In addition, EY Han Young continues to promote an organizational culture that encourages time management for both professional growth and well-being.
Park Yonggeun, CEO of EY Han Young, stated, "EY Han Young provides comprehensive support so that our employees can confidently prepare for the future and achieve both professional and personal growth," adding, "We will continue to spare no effort in helping each member realize their potential and design a meaningful long-term career."
