Shinsegae Centum City is showcasing a popup store for the brand "Kkuneul," which offers a modern reinterpretation of the traditional Czech bread known as "chimney bread," at the basement level 1 food hall until the 23rd of this month.
"Chimney bread" is characterized by its hollow cylindrical shape, with a crispy exterior and a moist interior.
Visitors can also find it interesting to watch the dough being wrapped around a specially made thick stick to form the cylindrical shape, as well as see the dough rotating inside the oven on the stick.
The signature products come in three flavors: plain, cinnamon, and streusel. Fresh cream and peanut cream, which can be enjoyed with the bread, are also available for purchase.
