According to Guinness World Records regulations, to attempt this category, the heel height of the shoes must be at least 7 cm. Additionally, the width of the heel tip must not exceed 1.5 cm, and platform shoes are not allowed. Guinness also released a video of Rodriguez's attempt. In the footage, Rodriguez is seen wearing blue high heels and socks, red shorts, and a pink-and-blue mixed top.

Rodriguez stood with his back to the starting line, and as soon as the signal was given, he immediately began to run. Guinness explained, "He runs down the road with the distinctive clack of high heels hitting the ground," adding, "A camera mounted on his chest provides a fun first-person view of his feet." The video ends with Rodriguez taking off his heels and catching his breath after crossing the finish line.
