With the slogan "The Power of Superfoods, Healthy Uiseong," this festival is a comprehensive cultural event that highlights Uiseong garlic, the region's signature specialty, and features performances, hands-on experiences, and a wide variety of food offerings.

◆ Spectacular Opening... Drone Show and Top Singers on Stage

The first day of the festival will kick off with a Nanta percussion performance featuring 50 local residents. The excitement will continue with performances by Korea's top band YB (Yoon Do-hyun Band), renowned trot singer Jang Yoonjeong, and Kim Dahyun, who is especially popular among teenagers.

Following the opening performances, a large-scale drone media show featuring 1,000 drones will light up the Uiseong sky, creating unforgettable moments for visitors.

◆ Residents Take Center Stage... Abundant Participation and Experience Programs

The festival will offer a superfood cooking contest using Uiseong garlic, the Uiseong Superstar talent competition for local residents, and a stage for local artists, providing opportunities for both residents and tourists to come together and enjoy the festivities.

The experience zone will feature an eco-friendly wooden playground, a retro arcade, "Garlic in the Squid Game," a superfood exhibition hall, and a flea market.

Notably, on the second day of the festival, the 1st Uiseong Garlic Marathon will be held at Uiseong Sports Complex, offering a unique blend of local festival and sports event.

◆ Direct Sales of Agricultural and Specialty Products... A Taste of Uiseong in One Place

Coinciding with the Chuseok holiday, booths selling agricultural and specialty products and a garlic direct sales market will be set up for returning families and visitors. At the large-scale food market, which will feature around 20 booths, visitors can experience the flavors and hospitality of Uiseong firsthand.

Kim Joosoo, Mayor of Uiseong County, stated, "Uiseong garlic is recognized worldwide as a superfood," adding, "I hope this year's festival will be a special event that brings health and vitality to both residents and visitors."

Uiseong County has consistently developed this unique festival that combines agriculture, tourism, and culture, emphasizing its identity as the "home of garlic." This year, with new programs such as the drone show and marathon, the festival is expected to attract nationwide attention, going beyond a simple local event.
