The Cheolma-myeon Welfare Center, built in 2007, consists of one basement level and four above-ground floors, and has served as a hub for residents' welfare with facilities such as a public bath, beauty salon, health center, fitness room, and senior citizens' center. However, due to the aging of the facilities, there had been ongoing calls for improvements, leading the county to begin remodeling in April of this year with a budget of approximately 1 billion won.

Through this project, key amenities such as the public bath and beauty salon have been renovated into more comfortable and safer spaces. The county plans to thoroughly manage the facilities so that the welfare center can serve as a hub for enhancing residents' welfare and leisure activities in the future.

Governor Jung Jongbok stated, "Since the Cheolma-myeon Welfare Center is an essential facility closely tied to residents' daily lives, I hope that with this reopening, more residents will be able to use it safely and conveniently. We will continue to work hard to improve residents' welfare and living conditions."
