Supporting 7,720 vulnerable households in the region
BNK Gyeongnam Bank has donated traditional market gift certificates worth 381 million won to Gyeongsangnam-do ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
Kim Taehan, President of Gyeongnam Bank, presented the "Traditional Market Gift Certificate Donation Certificate" to Kang Gicheol, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Social Welfare Community Chest, who visited the bank's headquarters. The traditional market gift certificates will be distributed sequentially to 7,720 vulnerable households in cities and counties across Gyeongnam, as recommended by the Gyeongnam Social Welfare Community Chest.
Gyeongnam Bank is carrying out the "2025 Chuseok Love Sharing Event," providing traditional market gift certificates to vulnerable groups recommended by cities and counties in Gyeongnam and Ulsan before Chuseok. In the case of Miryang in Gyeongnam, support will be provided in the form of rice upon request.
President Kim stated, "We expect that the donated traditional market gift certificates will both support vulnerable groups in the region and revitalize traditional markets, achieving a win-win effect. In addition to supporting vulnerable groups, we will continue to pursue mutual growth with Gyeongsangnam-do by providing financial support to local small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners."
