One-Stroke Victory for Scheffler at Procore Championship in Fall Series
Griffin Finishes Second, Amateur Koivun Ties for Fourth
Korean Players Struggle: An Byeonghun Ties for 57th, Kim Joohyung Finishes 72nd

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (USA) claimed victory at the first event of the Fall Series.

On September 14 (local time), at the Silverado Resort North Course (par 72, 7,138 yards) in Napa, California, USA, during the fourth round of the PGA Tour Procore Championship (total prize money: 6 million dollars), Scheffler carded six birdies and one bogey for a 5-under-par 67. With a final total of 19-under-par 269, he secured a come-from-behind win. This marks his sixth win of the season and the 19th of his career.

Scheffler, who recorded seven wins last season, has now achieved six or more wins for two consecutive years. According to the Associated Press, "Scheffler is the second player in the past 40 years, after Tiger Woods (USA), to record six or more wins in back-to-back years."

Ben Griffin (USA) missed a 2.24-meter putt on the final 18th hole (par 5), finishing second by one stroke at 18-under-par 270. Amateur Jackson Coiburn (USA) performed well, tying for fourth at 16-under-par 272. Korean players struggled; An Byeonghun finished tied for 57th at 2-under-par 286, while Kim Joohyung placed 72nd at 5-over-par 293.

While the Fall Series typically features players ranked 51st or lower in the FedEx Cup standings, this event saw a large number of top-ranked players participate. Members of the U.S. national team, who are set to compete in the Ryder Cup-an international men's golf competition between the United States and Europe-entered the tournament as part of their preparations and dominated the leaderboard.
