The meeting, held on September 12, was attended by the district mayor, department heads, local leaders, and key team leaders-totaling about 40 participants. The session was organized to discuss safety inspections and comprehensive measures in preparation for the holiday period.

Key topics discussed at the meeting included identifying disaster-prone areas and checking the responsibilities of managers, as well as safety management strategies for facilities under the district's jurisdiction in preparation for typhoons. In particular, the district reviewed concrete measures to strengthen safety in areas that had suffered major damage during previous heavy rains, aiming to prevent recurrence.

Countermeasures for the Chuseok holiday included joint environmental cleanup and weeding by departments, management of household waste during the holiday period, supervision of price stability and country-of-origin labeling, food hygiene safety management, operation of a comprehensive traffic control situation room, and safety inspections at construction sites. In addition, the district plans to visit underprivileged neighbors and social welfare facilities to foster a warm holiday atmosphere.

Jung Hyunseop, the mayor of Jinhae District, stated, "Through this meeting, we have established thorough typhoon preparedness and comprehensive measures to ensure residents' convenience during the holiday period. We will do our utmost to create an environment where citizens can feel safe and at ease throughout the long holiday."
