The "2025 Sejong Hangeul Sulsul Festival," held on September 13, concluded successfully, drawing enthusiastic responses from citizens by offering a variety of experiences related to local traditional liquor. Taking place at the Jochiwon Traditional Market’s third public parking lot and the square in front of Jochiwon Station under the theme "Brewed with Hangeul, Connected by Liquor," the Sejong Hangeul Sulsul Festival saw citizens enjoy a range of tasting events and savor the flavors and appeal of the region’s traditional liquor, despite the rainy and unfavorable weather. The festival was praised for providing opportunities to experience brewing culture more richly through diverse programs that vividly introduced the history and production process of traditional liquor, as well as food booths, local business pop-up stores, and special discount events.
