According to KB Kookmin Bank on September 14, CEO Lee made these remarks at the "2025 K-Business Leadership Forum," which was held on September 11 at the Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, with CEOs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies in attendance.

The forum, held under the theme "Co-Evolution: Corporate Strategies Evolving with AI," brought together more than 340 participants, including outstanding CEOs of SMEs and mid-sized companies that do business with KB Kookmin Bank, as well as Yang Jonghee, Chairman of KB Financial Group, and other executives.

The keynote speech at the opening ceremony was delivered by Kim Daesik, a KAIST professor and neuroscientist, on the topic "The Era of AGI Market Dominance: Intelligence Redrawing the Map of the Future, Insights for Corporate Survival and Prosperity."

Following this, the forum hosted the "KB Leaders Class," a customizable program where CEOs could select sessions on topics of their choice, fostering communication and collaboration among participants. The "KB Leaders Class" consisted of four sessions: global economy, humanities, physics, and health. The global economy session was led by political scientist Kim Jiyoon; the humanities session by docent Jung Woochul; the physics session by Professor Kim Beomjun of Sungkyunkwan University; and the health session by medical doctor Myung Seungkwon.

Lee Hwanju, CEO of KB Kookmin Bank, said, "This forum was organized to consider together the changes in the upcoming business environment and to seek new paths for growth," and added, "We will continue to be a reliable financial partner, working alongside companies to address management challenges and grow together."

Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank plans to hold the "KB Good Job Daejeon Job Festival" in Daejeon this November to revitalize the local economy and create jobs.
