Gangwon Province (Governor Kim Jin-tae) held the "1st Gangwon Province Regional Culture Cooperation Committee Meeting of 2025" on the 13th at Sangsangmadang Chuncheon Stay Hotel, where they discussed the current status and revitalization plans for the provincial arts troupe.

The meeting was attended by the Vice Governor for Administrative Affairs (who serves as the committee chair), the Director of Education from the Provincial Office of Education, as well as expert members from the culture and arts sector, who exchanged a variety of opinions. After the meeting, the committee members attended the 11th regular performance of the Gangwon Provincial Dance Company, "Gangwon Tteure," sharing feedback from the field.

The Regional Culture Cooperation Committee is organized in accordance with the "Gangwon Province Regional Culture Promotion Ordinance" and is responsible for reviewing major culture and arts promotion policies and providing policy advice.

Yeo Jung-hyeop, Vice Governor for Administrative Affairs of Gangwon Province, stated, "The provincial arts troupe contributes to the enjoyment of culture for residents through performances that capture the region's history and stories," adding, "Based on the committee's discussions, we will strengthen our support to ensure further development."
