Eight stores from traditional markets and alleyway shopping districts within the district, including Namdaemun Market, Bangsan Market, and Yaksu Market Alleyway Shopping District, will participate. The participating stores will showcase products that represent each market, such as accessories, kimchi stew, artificial trees, scarves, children's clothing, eco-bags, T-shirts, swim caps, seasoned crab meat, and salted hairtail innards.

The broadcasts will air on the Naver Shopping Live channel from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. To provide tangible benefits to residents, participating stores will offer limited-time special prices and hold a "purchase verification event." Various benefits will be available, including a drawing during the broadcast in which customers who purchase products can win laundry detergent worth 10,000 won.

This broadcast goes beyond simply supporting sales channels, providing step-by-step assistance from education and on-site operations to post-broadcast feedback. Jung-gu District held live commerce training sessions in June and July to strengthen merchants' online sales capabilities. One store in Samik Fashion Town even conducted a live commerce session during the training period and achieved actual sales revenue.

The district expects that this broadcast will not only provide real benefits to residents ahead of Chuseok, but also contribute to revitalizing traditional market businesses. Meanwhile, in preparation for Chuseok, Jung-gu will also support a special online discount sale at Namdaemun Market until October 13.

Fifteen stores in Namdaemun Market will participate in this discount event. Customers who order food from participating stores through Baemin (Baedal Minjok) will receive a 3,000 won discount coupon for orders over 10,000 won and a 5,000 won coupon for orders over 17,000 won. However, the benefits may end early if the budget is exhausted.
