Recruitment of 160 Overseas Private Network Organizations in 40 Countries

The Korea Small and Medium Business Agency announced on September 14 that it is recruiting participants for the "2026 Overseas Private Network" as part of its overseas branch office program.

The overseas branch office program is a system in which overseas private networks-local private professional organizations-act as branch offices on behalf of small and medium-sized venture companies that find it difficult to establish their own overseas branches. These networks support export marketing and entry into overseas markets. Currently, 145 organizations are active in 33 countries worldwide, and the program has established itself as a key platform for helping companies enter the global market.

This recruitment covers a total of 21 areas, including market development and transaction support, marketing, distribution and logistics, local legal and regulatory support, and growth and innovation support, reflecting the diverse overseas expansion needs of small and medium-sized venture companies at each stage. In addition, the scope has been expanded to include technology exports, data science consulting (data-driven export support), and local investment support.

The recruitment scale has been expanded by 10% compared to the previous year, targeting 160 organizations in 40 countries. Notably, this year, strategic markets such as Brazil, Colombia, and Saudi Arabia, as well as other regions in the Global South, have been newly included to diversify export markets for domestic companies. Applications can be submitted through the Overseas Branch Office Program website until September 22.

Kang Seokjin, Chairman of the Korea Small and Medium Business Agency, stated, "The overseas private network is a reliable export partner and a bridgehead for small and medium-sized enterprises to enter overseas markets," adding, "We look forward to the active participation of organizations equipped with expertise and local networks."
