"All Airport Information at a Glance" Check Congestion and Wait Times with the Korean Air App

Korean Air announced on September 12 that it has added a new menu, "Incheon Airport Preview," to its application (app) for passengers using Incheon International Airport.

This is an informational service that allows users to view customized airport information at a glance based on their travel itinerary. Focusing on Terminal 2, where Korean Air operates, users can check congestion levels at arrival and departure halls by time slot and view estimated travel times for each section from airport arrival to the boarding gate. The locations and congestion levels of Korean Air lounges can also be checked in advance, allowing for a more relaxed airport experience. In addition, detailed information on short-term and long-term parking lot availability is provided by floor.

There is also a "Meet Request" feature that allows passengers to share their arrival information with family and friends who are coming to pick them up at the airport. Estimated arrival times and exit gates can be easily shared.

The Incheon Airport Preview is based on public data provided by Incheon International Airport Corporation. Korean Air tickets are automatically linked without any additional steps, and for other airlines, users can access the information by entering the relevant flight details.

A Korean Air representative stated, "We aimed to enhance usability and convenience by providing detailed airport information tailored to each passenger's journey."
