Sejong City Office of Education Announces Competitive Examination for Appointment of Public Kindergarten, Elementary, and Special School Teachers

The Sejong City Office of Education announced on its website on September 10 its plan to conduct the competitive examination for selecting candidates for appointment as teachers at public kindergartens, elementary schools, and special schools (kindergarten and elementary) for the next year.

The number of candidates to be selected is as follows: 7 for kindergartens, 7 for elementary schools, 3 for special schools (kindergarten), and 9 for special schools (elementary), totaling 26. This is the same number as the preliminary announcement made on August 6.

Compared to the previous year, the number of candidates to be selected for kindergartens increased by 2, while the number for elementary schools decreased by 32, and the numbers for special schools (kindergarten) and special schools (elementary) each decreased by 1. Applications will be accepted online through the teacher recruitment system for five days, from September 22 to 26.

The first round of the examination will be held on November 8, and the second round will take place from January 7 to 9 next year. The final successful candidates will be announced on January 28 next year.
