Hwaseong City Introduces Automatic Discount System for Multi-Child Families Using Public Parking Lots

Automatic Discount Applied When Vehicle Number Is Registered in Multi-Child App Card

Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on September 9 that it will implement an automatic discount system to improve the convenience of using public parking lots for families with multiple children.

Currently, the city issues the "Hwaseong Multi-Child Card for Moms" to families with two or more children, providing preferential benefits such as a 50% discount on parking fees at 67 public parking lots.

This new automatic discount system significantly improves upon the previous discount method. Previously, in order to receive a parking fee discount, users had to call a control center staff member in person and present their multi-child card on site.

In contrast, the improved system allows families with multiple children to simply register their vehicle number in the "Gyeonggi TtokD" app to automatically receive discounts when using public parking lots, without the need to call staff or present a physical card. When issuing a new card, users can check the selection item and register their vehicle number.

The city will apply the automatic discount from the first day of the following month for vehicles registered by the 29th of each month.
