Gyeonggi Province to Award Contributors to Sharing and Donation Culture... Nominations Open Until End of This Month

Gyeonggi Province is accepting nominations for individuals and organizations to be recognized for their contributions to the spread of sharing and donation culture until September 30.

Since 2016, Gyeonggi Province has annually selected and awarded 'Contributors to the Spread of Sharing Culture.'

The criteria for candidates include: ▲ individuals who have made continuous donations rather than one-time contributions; ▲ those who have actively participated in various programs or campaigns during annual fundraising periods and contributed to improving fundraising results; ▲ and people who have set an example for others by consistently practicing love for their neighbors.

Gyeonggi Provincial Government

Gyeonggi Province will select a total of 45 recipients for the awards.

Applications can be submitted through city and county offices within the province, social welfare foundations, social welfare facilities, and corporations related to social contribution.

Gyeonggi Province will announce the awardees in November after a review by a selection committee composed of experts.

Han Kyungsoo, Director of Welfare Projects at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "I believe that those who give are much happier than those who receive," and added, "We will strive to establish a culture of sharing where people help each other, especially in difficult times."
