Hyundai Construction revealed a portion of its bid proposal for the Apgujeong 2 District reconstruction on August 25. The proposal, titled "OWN THE 100," is described by the company as both continuing the legacy of the past and presenting a blueprint for the future.

The proposal outlines five core visions. First, it highlights the landmark design as the symbol of the Apgujeong 2 District reconstruction. The new complex will consist of 14 buildings ranging from five basement floors to 65 above-ground floors, with a total of 2,571 units. The company stated that every residence will have a view of the Han River. The landscaping, connecting the complex's internal park with the Han River Park, will be created by bringing in trees from across the country.

The communal spaces for residents will include a fitness center, swimming pool, and golf practice range. Up to 100 different programs can be enjoyed in a single space, making it the largest scale among all previous reconstruction complexes. The company also plans to provide hotel-style services such as valet parking and house cleaning. The project aims to apply the paradigm of a "city" rather than a mere apartment complex. There will also be a residents-only passage connecting the subway station and the department store.

A Hyundai Construction representative stated, "With the sense of responsibility that made the Apgujeong area synonymous with high-end residential culture, we will complete a new city for the next 100 years that will capture the world's attention."

The Apgujeong 2 District reconstruction association recently designated Hyundai Construction, the sole bidder for the construction rights, as the preferred negotiation partner. With a construction cost of 2.7 trillion won, this project is the most advanced among the six special planning zones in the Apgujeong area. A general meeting to select the construction company is scheduled for September 27.
