A Korean-Japanese TV drama starring girl group KARA member Kang Jiyoung and boy band Choshinsung member Park Geonil will air in Korea starting this Thursday.
Korea's cartoon-specialized cable channel Tooniverse said in a press release Wednesday that Kang and Park's TV series titled "Rainbow Rose" will air its first two episodes on September 6.
Helmed by director Kim Soo-ryong of SBS TV series "Lie to Me" (2011), the story of their pure friendship and love was already premiered on the Japanese broadcasting channel TV Tokyo on April 13.
Kang took her role named Yuri, a perky daughter of the house owner, who wishes to become a fashion designer. Park plays Yuichi, a good-looking Japanese student living in Korea to major in business in college.
